Leslie Smart, who serves as president of six CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundations across Kentucky and southern Indiana, joined us to share the mission and focus pre and post-pandemic, as well as some grateful patient stories and heroic volunteer efforts. We will also learned the status of many of the Foundations fundraising events in light of social distancing and ways we can support the Foundations' efforts
No doubt the healthcare industry, specifically hospitals, have been at the center of this pandemic. Normal operations have nearly ceased in order to be prepared for a surge in cases, which will hopefully never happen. These Foundations collectively provide program, capital, and research support to CHI Saint Joseph Health’s hospitals and facilities
